The story of the continent, people and nature...
but also an invitation for other photography enthusiasts to travel with us to amazing places that cannot be seen through trips with travel agencies. In the last ten years we've made several trips.

A series of meetings with Walzing Matilda
on the dates of the exhibition, where we will tell where and when we photograph, what we photograph, how we get to places, we will show them in photography, on film and show them with finger on the map.

Unconventional exhibition
The combination of a traditional gallery with new imaging technologies.
Archive museum-quality photo prints are simultaneously combined with a digital virtual version presented on the highest quality screens, creating a kind of dialogue in the message, while encouraging reflection and discussion on evolution, both from the side of socio-natural changes in Australia and changes in our perception of the world, art and technology that surrounds us.
By presenting the same content on different media, we want to show similarities and at the same time differences reaching deeper to the recipient. We want to influence our senses both with the material of the message and its form.
Migaloos

While many Australians admire European history and culture and believe that it is deeply connected with their heritage and ancestors, it is us, Europeans, that know very little about the land once called, "Terra Australis Incognita"and about its history, indigenous people and abundant nature. Being so geographically distant, Australia still is a very unknown and unexplored land.

Migaloo in aboriginal language means "white fella". It also is an artistic nickname for all of the authors of the photographs presented at this exhibition. Through the lens, they hope to capture their amazement and infatuation with Australian nature. Photographs present diversity of landscapes and tell stories relating to Australian nature and culture. Sometimes it is hard to believe that they all were taken in one and the same country.

We are delighted to invite you to our exhibition hoping that you will share Migaloos enthusiasm.

Waltzing Matilda

Ones a jolly swagman camped by a billabong,
Under the shade of a coolibah tree,
And he sang as he watched and waited ‘til his billy boiled
“Who’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda, with me?”

Waltzing Matilda, Waltzing Matilda
“You’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda, with me”
And he sang as he watched and waited ‘til his billy boiled,
“You’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda, with me”.

Down came a jumbuck to drink at the billabong,
Up got the swagman and grabbed him with glee,
And he sang as he stowed that jumbuck in his tucker bag,
“You’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda, with me”.

Waltzing Matilda, Waltzing Matilda
“You’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda, with me”
And he sang as he stowed that jumbuck in his tucker bag,
“You’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda, with me”.

Down came the squatter, mounted on his thoroughbred,
Up came the troopers, one, two, three,
“Who’s that jolly jumbuck you’ve got in your tucker bag?”
“You’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda, with me”.

Waltzing Matilda, Waltzing Matilda
“You’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda, with me”
“Who’s that jolly jumbuck you’ve got in your tucker bag?”,
“You’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda, with me”.

Up got the swagman and jumped into the billabong,
“You’ll never catch me alive”, said he,
And his ghost may be heard as you pass by that billabong,
“Who’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda, with me?”

Waltzing Matilda, Waltzing Matilda
Who’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda, with me
And his ghost may be heard as you pass by that billabong,
“Who’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda, with me?”
